Waterways Drive & Tedder Avenue @ Main Beach

Walk a couple of hundred metres around the corner of Tedder Avenue and you’ll come to Waterways Drive, which overlooks the Gold Coast Highway bridge. On a bright sunny day like yesterday, one must never pass up the opportunity to take some photographs. After fooling around with the camera for a bit and accidentally scaring away an innocent pelican, we returned to Tedder and found a swing. Yes. A swing. James’ inner child persuaded him to give it a go. And so he did.

We returned to Waterways Drive a few hours later to take some long exposure pictures of the lights across the water. It was actually quite chilly that night and James took it upon himself to cuddle me while I fiddled with the tripod and camera. Managed to get some lovely glowing shots. I really love how the lights reflect off the water in a multitude of colours!

    1. Thank you for the kind comment and concern! Yes, we live on the Gold Coast. That weather was crazy! Thankfully we weren’t hit too bad! Certain places were flooded and without power for awhile. You live in Brisbane! How was it up there?
