Curious Palette is one of those tucked-away-in-plain-sight sort of cafes, with a unique layout and a spacious interior that throws subtle Balinese vibes and contemporary Melbourne-esque hipster influences at you. That’s not to say it offers you the norm when it comes to its food options – on the contrary, the menu it presents is contemporary and unique, with dishes that arrive in a state that is wholly Instagram-worthy. Order the Berry Ricotta Hotcakes and you’ll have a panicky moment where you think to yourself “do I really want to destroy such a pretty work of art with my fork of doom?”. There’s really no need for such dramatic thoughts – take one bite of the sweet, fluffy creation and you’ll find yourself being okay with decimating the whole thing and shovelling it all in your mouth.
Pulled Pork on Sourdough, SGD18.90
Corned Beef Scotch Egg, SGD17.50
Pan-seared Sous Vide Salmon, SGD18.90
Bacon Ricotta Hotcake, SGD15.90
Berry Ricotta Hotcake, SGD14.90
Other than the seriously smexy food presentation, you’ll find that the vibe is pretty laid-back and the staff are all pretty chill as well. You’ll want to spend a weekend morning here, sipping on a latte and bonding with mates. The cafe is easy enough to find – just right across the street from PoMo, walking distance from both Bras Basah and Dhoby Ghaut stations. The interior decoration of this place is enough to keep me coming back.

Angie, I’m a little confused as to where this cafe is? Louise
That’s a great question, Louise! I just realised I didn’t mention which city the cafe’s in. I’ve added the location now. Curious Palette is located in Singapore! :-)
Woooow. I will destroy with my fork of doom right after I take a picture.
